A-Way uses a zone-based pricing system to keep rates clear and predictable. Your base rate is set by the zone of the farthest pickup or delivery address.
Adjustments are applied depending on the speed of service you choose, package size/weight or mode of transport.

- Re‑delivery: If no one is available or a parcel is refused, a re‑delivery fee may apply
- Oversized: Items larger than 12″ × 24″ are subject to an oversize fee.
- Vehicle deliveries include a fuel surcharge that is reviewed monthly based on average Toronto gasoline prices published by Natural Resources Canada. View A-Way’s Fuel Surcharge Policy.
Overweight Items:
- No additional charge for first 15 lbs.
- $0.70 per lb. from 16-50 lbs.
- $1.00 per lb. from 51-75 lbs.
- Flat $50 surcharge for anything over 75 lbs.
- Flat $100 surcharge for anything over 150 lbs.
In addition to everyday courier runs, A-Way also handles complex or customized deliveries such as multi-stop routes, fragile or oversized items, pick and pack service, and time-sensitive orders that need extra coordination.
